It's a million times better than what people were suggesting earlier. Honestly, I kinda like it XD

Long haired Serena is better any day IMO. But honestly this isn't revolting. It is actually quite okay. Especially there's no guarantee this is permanent anyway.

It seems like she gets her redesign before the gym battle, so I'm guessing there may be something where Serena goes to the barber place in Lumiose city.  I honestly have no idea what's next to her though lol.

So we finally know that the white thing was actually Meyer! LOL. I honestly thought it was a gargoyle.

Hmm... The redesign doesn't look as bad as I thought.

I'm hoping that the haircut will develop Amour in some way. Hopefully she will get it cut during the Lumiose City Arc with Ash there with her.

If there is a Lumiose Arc, then we'll see Serena changing her design in Vaniville Town. Else, she would be changing her design in Lumiose City. Which makes me wonder- when are they going to visit Aquacorde Town and Vaniville Town?

Possibly. Maybe after obtaining half of required badges to Kalos League mabe Ash will make some break and visit Serena's hometown. Ash hasn't been there before, if I remember correctly.

Nope. Ash hasn't been there. So you say they will visit after the gym battle? Interesting. If that is the case, then her design change will happen in Lumiose, because she sports the new design in the Lumiose Battle.

I think it may still be possible for Serena to put her hair in a ponytail since I saw James do it with his hair in the Bonnie Lapras Defense episode and I think both of their hair may be similar in length, though it'll probably look more casual and not as show-offish as before. I think her hair may actually be longer than it looks though because I see something on her shoulders that kinda looks like braided, tied on hair or something, and I think the back of her hair may go down to her shoulders.

Really?  How so? xD

It's just that Serena's side hair are about as long as Dawn's in the redesign, so giving her shoulder/mid-back length hair would make their hairstyles pretty similar XD

Or maybe this redesign is only temporal. You know like i.e. Dawn for the Grand Festival, but for a little longer than just one or two episodes. After that she might return to her old self.

BTW: TR seems to often use one kind of their designs in XY.

I think it may actually be for her performance for the next Showcase. I think she'll go back to her original hair style after that, but maybe keep her new attire. In the script image I think I still see long hair that curls over her left shoulder like her original style does.

That is possible. Maybe her hair regrows, but she retains her style. Because I think I can almost certainly say that I see this new hat on her head in the script image. I just want to know what that weird stripe was on her skirt in the script image.

Probably just a weird stripe, since we see something white extending past her top in that picture.

And yet it isn't a perfect extension. You would think if it extended off her top, it would continue in one straight line right? It isn't. It is slightly off center, and the other point is that the white stripe on her skirt doesn't seem to extend all the way up her skirt from what we see in the script picture.
