Yeah, he was only around for one gym... And it's probably the only pseudo-legendary Ash is gets this gen (sans 600+ BST Megas).
At least he may get an appearance in the Pokemon League but the lack of Goodra in Ash's party for 90% of the show is pretty sad.

Yeah, it's pretty horrible. Numelgon was cool, but pointless :./
