Why did they stop making Pokemon Chronicles?

I think it might have been because of low ratings or something. Chronicles was a dub only series which it combined all the specials from the OS-AG into one series in the dub if I am remembering this correctly.

They were never popular enough to be still run. I guess it's better to run some special like Dawn, Brock, Cilan, Iris special after their time in the main anime. Or run completely independent story, like The Strongest Mega Evolution.
